Tarrytown Roofing successfully completed restoration work at Agave Falls Apartments, a North Austin multifamily property comprising more than 20 units across 1,500 square feet. The property's nearly 20-year-old roof system had suffered hail damage, requiring comprehensive replacement. After a previous contractor failed to meet deadlines and adequately address resident concerns, Tarrytown Roofing was selected for the job, becoming the only company to arrive on time for initial consultations and deliver as promised.

The team coordinated closely with property management and the insurance company to document damage and obtain approval for coverage. This collaboration ensured the roof and gutter replacement were fully funded through the property's insurance provider. The project encompassed critical preparation work, including protection of HVAC units and landscaping, along with complete removal of old roofing materials down to the decking level, with replacement of compromised sheets at no additional cost.

The new installation featured premium materials engineered for Texas climates: IKO Cambridge Architectural Shingles rated for 25-30 year durability with wind resistance up to 130 mph, synthetic underlayment, ice and water shielding, stepped flashing, ridge vents for airflow efficiency, drip edge, and proper fastening per manufacturer specifications. Completed in 12 days, the project represents the first phase of an anticipated ongoing partnership with the property's private equity-backed ownership group focused on social impact housing.
